Project Overview
Mission 1000 Tonnes is a global initiative dedicated to removing plastic from waterways. To scale their impact, they needed a digital platform that could educate, inspire, and mobilize communities worldwide. The challenge was to create a brand and website that felt both urgent and hopeful, a place where individuals could easily learn, take action, and contribute to the movement.
What We Did
We developed a complete creative direction and visual identity, balancing urgency with optimism. The brand system pairs bold imagery with clear calls to action, creating a visual language that inspires participation while reinforcing the scale of the mission.
On the technical side, we built a fully custom WordPress site designed for flexibility. The Mission team can now update content, share cleanup results, and launch new campaigns without needing developer support. The platform is scalable, secure, and built for a global audience.
User Journey Design
The digital journey was structured around action:
Engage: A homepage that immediately communicates the mission, reinforced with impactful visuals and key statistics.
Explore: Intuitive navigation that makes it easy to learn about cleanups, ambassadors, and global initiatives.
Act: Seamless flows to join a cleanup, donate, or apply as an ambassador, each designed to be clear, fast, and inspiring.
The result is more than a website. It’s a rallying point where design and purpose meet a digital hub built to grow a movement.
